自他の境が融解する
このクローバーの葉は私だ
あの草、虫、土、空気、光、匂いも
みんな私だという感覚
あり得た、あり得るのではなく、
今まさにあれは私だという明らかな感覚
なぜ誰でもあり得るのか

A field of green to me is a microcosm. Grasshoppers eating grass; frogs catching grasshoppers; snakes swallowing frogs; earthworms making their neighbors’ dungs and dead bodies into soil; rain and sunshine pouring over the field; grass sucking the enriched water from the soil while photosynthesizing; and all living things breathe the air produced by grass...Everything is inter-connected with each other, and no being within this cycle exsists on its own. Even a small clover that I observe in front of me is made from a countless causes and effects since the beginning of time.
Through my work, I want to capture the essence, the cyclical nature, and the innumerable relationships making up the field. I draw the soil and then add a clovers one by one as if they are growing from the soil. I remagine the air on the ground by glazing clear oil over and over again. The soil, clovers, and insects of first layer become hidden because of the additional layers. However, they exist in the lowest layer of the painting as like the fields of green made up of the things we can see and we cannot see.
